Hi Everyone,
What wonderful ideas you all have for the yards.I have gravel in
my fenced yard.My mistake was getting a dog so have to replace
my gravel ever so often but it isn't a problem as my ex son in law
owns his own gravel truck and gets his gravel from a place in Blythe.
But I love the natural desert trees.I have a huge ironwood tree in
my front yard.It is beautiful. That also brings me back to the original
question I asked when I joined this sight.Has anyone else noticed
the red beans on the ironwood trees this year?

Hi Kathy: Welcome to the site. I can't say that I have noticed the beans on the Ironwood Trees, but I did find this info on them. Apparently it's a natural thing.
Seed Pod: Brown, bean-like seedpods about 2 inches long. Each seedpod has 1 to 4 brown beans in it.
Elevation: 0 - 2000 Feet.

Hi Iggy,
Thank you for the welcome.Yes the ironwood trees do have brown
beans in brown pods but this year they are red.I am thinking it may be from the purple buds on them. This
year is the first year I have ever seen purple buds on them and I
have lived here 25+ years.I will get a picture of them and upload it
on here.
