That's about 10 footer! But I measure them by how far I would jump, not how long they are.

Rep: I'd like to see that photo in it's full size. Here's why. Take a close look at the shadow from the snake. THe part where the shadow is showing on the container and ground below the box is very defined, but it's also very defined above the box on ground. Doesn't look natural for a flash shadow -- it should have been fainter since the ground above the box was so far behind the box! The person posting that also said it wasn't doctored --- was that necessary to say unless it was? Also the snake is blurry just below the hand holding him. Just a question on my behalf as I have doctored many photos myself and know how to do them correctly. Asking for you to take another look and give your opinion.

Thanks Don.....

Hey Rep, what's to keep that snake from whipping around and biting that guy in the leg? It also looks like the snake had recently had some groceries by the bulge midway in it's body.

My mistake, duh, it's the snake hook causing the bulge. That's what I get for trying to post at 4 something in the morning.

Is it not possible for that thing to bite that person? Its head looks real close to the leg. A fine line between brave and foolish IMO. And it was close to houses? Dangerous.......

Don...
The shadow does seem odd. But the same shadow exists under the crook of his left arm too.

One thing to point out is that he is holding it well away from his body. The secret to keeping it from whipping around is balance. You give the snake just one balance point and he'll concentrate on maintaining it (usually). Don't try this at home!
