These are not good photos, but they did tell us something when we looked at them later on the computer. The first one is of 2 Kit Foxes out in the desert at night. Sorry these were taken under really bad conditions with a small camera using handheld lights and the off road lights on the truck.

Now the thing to look for is the sidewinder in the photo --- see it?

We didn't think the foxes were payinig any attention to it other than to stay away from it. We turned into this track and saw one the foxes --- guess what he's got in his mouth?

Guess they'll eat anything, not just kangaroo rats.

those are great photos. Makes you wonder why no one has domesticated the breed to add to the number of dog species humans have for pets.
