 Guess nobody noticed the heart on the upper left corner of that big rock in the last photo I posted. Has a diagonal line as well, and is just the kind of thing that needs to be found and studied in order to fully understand the Stone Maps.

Howdy Wayne,

Things are harder to make out with just a photo, but now that you mention it, yes. I had blown up the image, and thought I could make out large outlined letters all across starting with an E where the heart is. Since I really wasn't sure, I didn't comment on it.

I know Homar. There are other places where things appear to have been carved as well, but erosion has taken it's toll on any which have been exposed to the weather. Also depends on how much light is available (full sunlight to shadow) and from which angle they are viewed/photographed.
I'll post some other stuff later to illustrate what I mean.
Meanwhile heres a shot which includes most of whats inscribed across the bottom of the lower T-Map as well as Garmin's drawing of same. You should be able to make out both the marker boulder and the '7" which is identical to the ones used on the Stones.

Howdy Wayne,

That's quite a feat to undertake, more so if it was just meant to throw others off.

I see what drives you, only something big would be worthy of all that trouble.

It is big, Homar. And a masterpiece of ingenuity IMO.
I still feel as if I have only had a peek at what's there, and what it all represents.
But it's definitely not a hoax. Nor were the stones created as a deception meant to lead searchers astray.
This photo shows one of the ways in which the stones use various markings for orientation.
It is only one of several pieces of physical evidence out there that link all of the stones together, including the Stone Crosses, which has to me at least, proven that they were all made by the same group a very long time ago.

This IS the "E" shown on the Horse side of the H/P stone.
It is also a view of the forward end of the base of the larger of two Priests in the immediate area.
Although they are in shadow, you should be able to just make out a "2" and "3" to the left (front base of this priest) of the "E", which is about 12' high.

Howdy Wayne,

Is that the face of the Priest carved on the top of the shaded side of that rock?

Homar:

No. You need to be out front to see the face. And it's a bit higher.
But he had me stumped for awhile, because he had no hat. But there is a lot of fallen rock around and below on the ground. So maybe the hat broke up and fell away.
There are plenty of what looks like very old carvings around the base, and what you see changes as you move around, or with changes in lighting.
This shot shows a cross in a rectangle with a "2" and "3" at the upper corners.
The "2" seems to exactly match the form of that on the P map.

Another.
Compare whats in the yellow box in front of him, with the markings to the right of the dagger on the upper T map.
