Hi Jerry,
The name of the pills I am taking is
Hyaluronic Acid
It says on the label that it is a Joint Lubricant. I get it at a Health Food Store, but it should be available in most Drug Stores also.
I took two a day for two weeks (as recommended) and all of my knee problems went away. Then I dropped back to one a day, and so far I am doing fine with that dosage.
My knees used start to burning like fire near the end of a day hike, swell up the next day, and be sore for about 3 days after that. No More!
Worked great for me. Hope it gives you some relief too!.

Thanks Jim, I will try them... My knees hurt the worst going down hill. Go figure.

Yes Sir! DOWNHILL!
That's when it always hit me too. Whenever possible I leave my truck in a place where it will be downhill returning to it, at the end of the day, when I am tired. It's a real bummer to have to climb up to it at the end of a long hike!
Anyway, that last downhill was always the worst part for my knees too.

THANKS Jim
Been taking the joint suppliment for almost 3 weeks now. Just did an overnight hike, about 7hrs the first day and the same the second day. Everything hurts BUT my knees. That stuff is a great find. Darn near as good as gold.

Glad to hear it Jerry!
It sure made a difference in my life.
Amazing what a little "lubrication" on the joints will do huh?
An overnight trip? You didn't mention where you hiked to.

I seem to remember something about an "Adams Mine" in Frank Dobe's books. I did a search, but all I found was a dispute about a garbage dump in Ontario. It has been years since I read those books. Is my memory faulty?

Jim,
Hiking downhill is always worse on people's knees than flat or uphill walking. We place our feet differently when going downhill. That's why they don't use a "down" setting on most jogging or walking machines.
If you can walk downhill comfortably, that's the mark of a good product.

Three days straight on rough trail Beth, and they never hurt once! They were sure getting weak and wobbly, near the end of the 3rd day tho.
