I'm as green as they come as far as outdoorsmen, but my gut tells me that this year won't be anything like last year for flowers. It was much rainier last year.

I explored the Sonoran desert above Phoenix last year on several occasions and the fields of flowers were breathtaking. My favorite trip was to Sheep Bridge on the Verde River. Very cool day trip.

Peace,

Kevin

We are heading out for a few days in the desert to enjoy the springtime display. The flowers are out and now is the time!

I'm surprised to hear, Kevin. Last year and the prior year were among the driest here in California. This year is a bit better. With any luck, maybe we will see spring flowers again. It would sure be a sign that we could have a better upland bird hatch.

Those poppies are all over my yard. Nice now, but soon they will be just annoying weeds to have to clear out.
