As big a Chicken as I am around snakes, I wouldn't be wearing just leggings. I'd have a full Kevlar body armor suit on and I wouldn't care how hot it was.

Apache Devil: Hope you get back to it, it is fun! And you never know what you'll run into out there.
Allen: Don't blame you one bit. Most of the rattlesnakes in the area we search regularly are sidewinders and are by nature small (large one is 24 inches long) so the chaps are enough with boots. But boy are they uncomfortable. They jam into the back of your knees and make you sweat and itch. It's something you could get used to -- maybe!
