Hi Guys!
I’m really stoked about this
I found this fairly massive rock months ago
I wasn’t sure if it was good stuff or not
I just got conformation from a major rock hound
that it is indeed goood rock
it called brecciated agate
This person will slab this rock
and I suspect that what’s inside will make are eyes pop out!
This rock hound finds plenty of this rock in Arizona
and he does a fantastic job of cutting it
This is a picture he took of it to today
which shows much of its potential
stayed tuned for future pixs
& keep your eyes wide open
thanks
Ed

Re: My Big Find
Very cool - nice big find and it looks like it's going to have lots of great color when it's cut and polished!

Breccia pipe? Wow! Never heard of that Curt.
Take a picture of such a formation & post!
That really interests me.
My rock ame from the area of Pinnacle Peak Rd and 25th Ave.
I don’t think the rock is native to the area.
I found it in bulldozer excavation dump.
The rock appears to have concrete on the outside of it
but my pal tells me its natural
So must be limestone or caliche
someday I’d like to do some rock hounding
spirit is willing -- bones are fossilized

Re: My Big Find
another beautiful piece of artwork. Say roc - do you think if I can ever find the "right" rock, would you be willing to make a heart pendant for my wife? I'd love to surprise her with something like that - I'll be happy to pay you for the work! I just need to find the right piece of rock
