Well back to Nebraska...we made it in good time (2 days). Great, I'm charged up any ready to go back to Ajo now! My wife, a true Nebraska Czech is not so inclined. She will be by Nov. Also I'm "back to reality". As usual, Ajo had great weather for the 3 months we stayed. Wow, hanging out in a "real" desert playing Bocce ball (kinda rough considering the caleche.) Desert blooms as usual.

Zeke: Glad you had a good time in Ajo. The desert can be fun. Do you have a 4x4? That would make you next trip really fun!

Ajo is a wonderful place. It is one of the places I am thinking of retiring to someday, although my retirement will probably consist of spending time in many places. I had a beautiful desert experience the last time I was there in 2006 and I look forward to getting there again next year.

I've never been there...... and that's a great excuse to go. Maybe check out the Kofa country on the way.....
