Here's what I found when I looked it up in the FAQ section at the top of the page:
"» I cannot send private messages!
There are three reasons for this; you are not registered and/or not logged on, the board administrator has disabled private messaging for the entire board, or the board administrator has prevented you from sending messages. Contact a board administrator for more information."
One thing you may be able to do is to go to your profile and add your email address there so if someone wants to contact you they can. I don't think that private messaging has been enabled yet but I'll check further. This new software/web design has been a long awaited thing and I'm happy to see it.
