Ashton,

"Bertie Roberts gave some info regarding 'Andy Starrer' to Corbin (Bible pg 118). Glover writes about Waltz giving Andrew his homestead in return for Andrew taking care of Waltz for the rest of his natural life. A curious arrangement, to say the least."

I don't believe there is a single piece of evidence supporting the existence of "Bertie Roberts", and we have looked.....extensively. Most of the "New" evidence in Helen's book came from one source, and he was also the source for anything relating to Bertie Roberts.

There are many historical facts in Helen's book, but those facts are easy to acquire and not difficult to authenticate. Anything else, IMHO, is pure fiction. Both Helen and Bob were completely fooled by this source......as were many others, including myself.

Take care,

Hi Joe,

Uhhhh – one moment while I pick my jaw up off the floor. Wow.

Thanks for that info.

I look forward to meeting you at the rendezvous.

Best,

Wasn't Bertie personally interviewed by Helen Corbin?

In the movie, the Barry Storm character talks to a kindly
elderly lady who personally knew Waltz. In a flashback this
elderly lady was terrified of Jacob becuase he scared her as young child

Roc,

There are still copies available. You can find one here for $19.99:

I have a number of copies, including a leather bound first edition enscribed by Bob. Since that book was a gift, it will remain in my collection as long as I'm alive.

Other than that, I have little use for those books. A number of my LDM books fall into that catagory.

Take care,

Joe
