Hi Guys
A friend of mine visited Oregon and went to Richardson Rock Ranch
Thunder Eggs are Oregon's State rock
and Richardson Ranch is famous for them
Basically there round & don't look like much on the outside
but inside the agate colorful full
Here's what the person brought me
a close up
The black one is snowflake obsidian
the other rocks originated on the ranch
anyway I look forward to cutting the thunder egg open
and revealing the treasure
so stay tuned!

Re: ThunderEggs
These thunders are fabulous material
I'm really lucky to have got them!
Actually I gave the snowfalke obsidian
back to the person who brought me these stones from Oregon.
It was a big chunk and to nice of a specimen to cut up.
Besides I have a good source on all types of obsidian
But here is a piece of snowflake obsidian I crafted not long ago
The stone is from Tiahuanco, Mexico.
Thanks!

Re: ThunderEggs
Now that is awesome Ed, that red spot makes the egg look even more real, and about to "hash". Now you can claim to be one of those born again dudes.
