This was last week from a canoe on the Colorado R.
Not really up on my duck/geese ID. We have Canada Geese here but it doesn't really look like them.

I was hoping someone here was a closet duckologist. I'll do a little digging on the local level and see what I can turn up.

Nice work Iggy. Sure looks like it to me.
Brown Chinese...never heard of it before this.
Thinking back, it must have been a goose, it gave me a couple of warning HONKS as I drifted past snapping photos. I was probably a little too close to the chicks for her liking.
