Love the muledeer and cactus wren, great shots!
But that fox squirrel is kinda creepy in a crazed sort of way.

Terry, I love the Photo of the deer. He, (or she), appears to be saying "What - I Didn't Do It?"

I think all these were shot with my 70-200 f4, L series Canon lens on a Canon Rebel Xti body.

Really nice shots, especially the rattler. Hope you weren't as close as it looks....
How long would it take to hike up Pyramid Mountain? How high is it?

Roward,
I was probably a good 6' from the snake.

Pyramid mountain...it's surrounded by private land although the continental divide trail system winds on through their properties and below the pyramid....You have to hike in, as the landowners have locked the gates.

I would think I could climb that little ol' ant hill in a day....Coming back down might be extremely long or extremely short.
