Neither am I. Tradclimber writes "...spray the BuzzTail's eyes..." Owing to the fact that the mucous membranes of snake eyes (not just rattlers) do NOT come in contact with the environment as do those of mammals (Note: people are mammals). The eye is covered with a scale which is impervious to air and airborne products. Now, maybe spray paint-- Hmm.
:geek: i agree.. pepper sprays is way effective for buzztails.. tried it 6months ago..

Hi Toni and welcome to the Forum.

Who posted that??

It is supposed to be 6" away for 12 seconds!!
See note below concerning the above.

Now that the dastardly deed is done...perhaps you could share some details.
1.) Type of spray.
2.) Distance from which the snake was sprayed.
3.) Number of bursts and duration.
4.) Describe the BuzzTail's disposition before and after spraying.

Your intellectual curiosity must of gotten the best of you – because you could of easily walked away.

NO
The "directed" use was meant as a JOKE!

To use Pepper Spray in that manner would probably be hazardous to your health.

The "Just walk away" advice is truly words of wisdom. There is no reason to harm an animal if you are able to walk away from it.
