Hello, first post

Hi, i stumbled upon this website when i was looking for info on Kelly Point, Parashant NM, as i'm hoping to make a trip out there soon.

Just reading through some of the threads, i found them to be really interesting and up my alley so i decided to join.

As my username suggests, i am a ranger at Grand Canyon National Park -North Rim. And i have many desert miles on my tires and hiking boots, so i hope i can contribute some knowledge from all of my experiences.

And - WOW! On the pictures. They could be postcards. I like the second one, with the people standing on the left - gives some real perspective on the area. (something that is difficult).

I hope you enjoy the forum, and, since you ARE a Ranger, you may be able to contribute to some of our discussions from another point of view.
