RIP Jerry Feldner
Many of you may remember Jerry Feldner the herpetologist... He died last night from stomach cancer. He was a crusty old man on the web, but in real life, he was a very generous, kind, and intelligent fellow. He was a good influence to me and many others. He leaves behind his wife Ellie, and I'm not sure how many kids he has, but I think two sons and a daughter.

argh! too many here have passed before their time
Perhaps on Memorial Day we should have a special remembrance for El Jefe, Norm!, Feldner, PITD, Jim Hatt, any others?

Re: RIP Jerry Feldner
I rarely stop by here anymore and it seems each time I do another valued member has expired. Such is life I guess. There was a time when these boards were alive with the strong and interesting personalities that have sadly left us all to soon. People who truly embodied the spirit of the desert we all love. True desert rats.
RIP Jerry.
