Congratulations! Would have private messaged you my thoughts, but I am a newbie, just catching up to speed on this board, and not allowed to do that yet.
Do you think you have the results of Adolph Ruth's search in the bag -- or is that one still out there for the rest of us hopefuls who will most likely never leave the comfort of Northern, air conditioned libraries?
Seriously, post more when you can and it is legally wise under treasure hunting conditions to do so!

After we removed the lower bulkhead we found a tunnel filled full of dirt and ore. This how it looked after we removed the wall...

It took around the clock work, but we cleared 40 foot of the lower tunnel. We still have a long way to go. We found another shaft that was covered over deep inside. The tunnel was only a few feet in diameter, there was no way to turn around untill you got the 40 feet in and there was a turn around spot. Here you can see the Badger at the turn around....

Here is what we found inside the tunnel. It is silver and gold with copper...What is very interesting is that the vein is quartz, but it is white, pink and purple all together.....I wonder if that was why there are so many versions of the duchman ore?? But here is the ore....

The opening is very small. Here is a photo of me setting over the entrance looking at the ore we found....
