Halloween in the Desert

Post by roc2rol »

Hi Guys & Gals!

Perhaps some of you have some pictures of Halloween
little goblins, carved pumkins or some natural rock faces?

This picture is of Papago Moutains in Phoenix
taken from about 2 miles away.

Image

For the past couple of years while driving south on Priest
just south of Washington I kept seeing this face.
The angle only occurs for short 1/4 mile.
For this picture I had to double park
and stand on a rock pedestle get the shot.
Like Zapruder-- 'cept I didn't
have a young lady help balance me. Ha Ha

anyway if you have some images to post
please do. It could be fun

Happy Halloween

Here's a video I made earlier this year. Location: Great Falls Basin (Searles Valley - northern Mojave Desert, near Death Valley). You might not like the little song I wrote for the video, but there are quite a few rock faces included.
