Bighorn Lamb closeup Death Valley

Above the Keane Wonder Mine in Death Valley, a herd of bighorn sheep is grazing when a lamb appears under the watchful eye of the mother ewe. While stumbling around the ridge between King Midas and Keane Wonder looking for a shortcut I lucked out capturing a herd when a lamb popped up from its nap time. This was the highlight of a week full of highlights!
