DesertUSA’s Hot Wings

Preheat your grill to medium heat.  Wash the wings and pat them dry.  Season with some salt and pepper.  Grill the chicken wings until fully cooked.  Put the cooked wings into a large bowl and add 1/2 cup of DesertUSA’s Hot Honey over the wings and toss them to taste.  Put them back on the grill for 1 minute per side to glaze the honey. The flavor is hot and sweet.  You can also drizzle DesertUSA’s Hot Honey over fried chicken or baked chicken for an extra kick of flavor.  You can also add DesertUSA’s Hot Honey as a side for dipping.

DesertUSA’s Spicy Margarita

2 oz silver tequila
½ oz orange liqueur (substitute with fresh orange juice optional)
1 oz lime juice
½ oz DesertUSA’s Hot Honey
1 fresh jalapeno pepper sliced for garnish
1 fresh lime cut into wedges for garnish
Tajín seasoning (or make your own with sea salt, chile powder and lime zest or dehydrated lime)

Mix the tequila, orange liqueur or orange juice, lime juice and DesertUSA’s Hot Honey together to make DesertUSA’s Spicy Margarita. To serve, rim an empty glass with Tajín seasoning salt, pour in the Spicy Margarita, add a few slices of fresh jalapeno pepper into the glass and garnish with a piece of fresh lime on the rim.

DesertUSA’s Hot Honey Toddy
Serving: 1 Drink


2 oz bourbon or whiskey
¼ oz DesertUSA’s Hot Honey
½ oz lemon juice
½ cup of hot water
1 cinnamon stick to garnish

Mix ingredients together in a mug and add a stick of cinnamon as a garnish.


DesertUSA’s Hot Honey Charcuterie Board

There are so many ways to create a unique charcuterie board with a combination of sweet, salty and spicy flavors.  Our secret ingredient is DesertUSA’s Hot Honey as a topping.  It pairs well with most types of cheese and enhances the flavor.  Add your favorite prosciutto, Genoa salami, fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts and olives.  Don’t forget crackers or slices of rustic bread.  You will be surprised at how good DesertUSA’s Hot Honey tastes with a variety of charcuterie combinations.

Hot Honey & Pecans on Baked Brie (Appetizer)

1 – 16 oz wheel of brie cheese
½ cup DesertUSA’s Hot Honey
1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Place brie on cookie sheet in oven for 10 minutes. In a sauce pan, combine hot honey and pecans over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes.  Stir mixture until heated through. Once brie is cooked, place on serving dish or tray and top with hot honey and pecans.  Serve with crackers or baguette.  Great addition to a charcuterie board.

DesertUSA’s Spicy Paloma Cocktail

Serving: 1 Drink
2 oz tequila
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
2 tbsp DesertUSA’s Hot Honey
2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
Splash of club soda
1 jalapeno sliced for garnish
1 lime cut into wedges for garnish
Tajín seasoning (or make your own with sea salt, chile powder and lime zest or dehydrated lime)

Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, hot honey and lime juice into cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake until chilled.  Rim an empty glass with Tajín seasoning. Pour in mixture from the shaker, garnish with jalapeno slices and a lime wedge.
