Prickly Pear Margarita
The tart and subtly sweet taste of prickly pears brings a delightful and refreshing element to the traditional margarita. - 2 oz silver tequila
- 1.5 oz prickly pear fruit syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 lime wedge optional
- 1 cup ice
Rim glass with salt (optional) by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into the salt.
In a shaker, combine tequila, prickly pear syrup, lime juice, and ice and shake vigorously to blend all ingredients.
Fill the prepared glass with ice and strain the margarita into it.
To serve blended, add ingredients with 1 cup of ice in a blender and blend.
Feel free to adjust the ingredient quantities and sweetness levels according to your taste preferences.
TIP – For extra visual and flavor, add a piece of Desert USA’s Prickly Pear Sour Candy to the rim of the glass.
