Prickly Pear Margarita

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1.5 oz prickly pear fruit syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 lime wedge optional
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions
 

  • Rim glass with salt (optional) by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into the salt.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, prickly pear syrup, lime juice, and ice and shake vigorously to blend all ingredients.
  • Fill the prepared glass with ice and strain the margarita into it.

Notes

To serve blended, add ingredients with 1 cup of ice in a blender and blend.
Feel free to adjust the ingredient quantities and sweetness levels according to your taste preferences.  
TIP – For extra visual and flavor, add a piece of Desert USA’s Prickly Pear Sour Candy to the rim of the glass.
