Height: 4-10 inches

Description: Leptosiphon breviculus produces a thin, hairy stem which is occupied by an inflorescence of one or more white, pink, or blue flowers with purple throats, each about a centimeter wide.

Leaf: The hairy, oppositely arranged leaves are each divided into very narrow needlelike lobes up to a centimeter long

Range: Mojave Desert, San Gabriel Mountains, San Bernardino Mountains.

Habitat: Deserts, dry montane areas

Elevation: < 2400 m.

Flowering time: May–Aug
