ORGAN PIPE CACTUS NATIONAL MONUMENT, AZ. March 8, 2017 – The Alamo Canyon Campground restroom facility will receive a necessary improvement for accessibility with the construction of a parking pad, a wheelchair ramp and a handrail.
Work is anticipated to start Monday March 13th and end by Friday March 24th and will occur daily from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. Visitors camping or hiking in Alamo Canyon should anticipate limited parking, the presence of workers, heavy construction equipment, noise, dust, temporary delays and road closures.
