Margie Klein is a certified environmental educator and interpreter, a storyteller, teacher and writer. She currently writes natural history articles and delivers environmental education programs to both children and adults. She is the author of “Southern Nevada Wild,” a wildlife education newsletter for teachers and students, which won her the 2011 Conservation Education Award in writing from The Wildlife Society. She is a member of the Children and Nature Network and works with the Nevada Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights. Klein is active in promoting passive outdoor recreation, including nature study and wildlife watching.
