Multi-Agency Response Recovers Drowning Victim in Wahweap Bay April 2016

The four-day multi-agency search for missing 25-year old Tim Ritarita of Sevier County, Utah concluded when his body was located at a depth of 143 feet in the Kane County, Utah portion of Wahweap Bay in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. National Park Rx Day

Tumacácori National Historical Park is teaming up with Tubac Presidio State Historic Park to sponsor a second “Park-to-Park Hike” opportunity along the 4 mile stretch of Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail between the two parks. A free shuttle will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. delivering hikers between start and end points.
