Grand Canyon, Ariz. – On Friday, April 28 the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center was notified by a commercial river trip that they located a body on the Colorado River at River Mile 152. Park rangers responded and recovered the body, which was transported to the rim by helicopter and transferred to the Coconino County

The Devils Garden area of Arches National Park, including access to all area hiking trails, will be closed from April 30 through June 3 to allow construction crews to complete needed road work. Grand Canyon, AZ– The North Kaibab Trail is now open to foot traffic. On Monday, March 27, Grand Canyon National Park began daily closures of the North Kaibab Trail at Redwall Bridge so crews could safely remove debris from a storm-caused rockslide.
