1.5 oz. DesertUSA’s Prickly Pear Fruit Syrup
Coarse salt for rim of glass (optional)

Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a glass filled with ice. To serve blended, add ingredients with 1 cup of ice in a blender and blend. Pour into margarita glass with or without a salt rim and garnish with a lime wedge.
Tip: For a “Spicy” Prickly Pear Margarita drizzle a bit of hot honey on top of the finished drink. Garnish with a few sliced jalapenos in the glass. Rim the glass with a little water or lime juice and TAJÍN® Clásico Seasoning (a blend of chili peppers, lime and sea salt).
How to Make a Spicy Prickly Pear Cactus Margarita
To make a spicy margarita, simply add about 1/2 – 1 tbsp of Hot Honey to the Margarita Recipe. The hot honey is infused with chili peppers. This will give your margarita a little bit of heat and a lot of flavor. Pour into a glass rimmed with coarse salt or rim with Tajin, a spicy seasoning made with a bled of chili peppers, lime and sea salt. Tajin can be purchased in grocery stores or online. Garnish with a few slices of Jalapeño and lime.
