The Arizona Wildfire & Incident Management Academy and Tim’s Buick/GMC of Prescott are teaming up to raffle a pickup truck during this year’s academy, March 10-16 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona.
Tim’s Buick generously donated a 2010 GMC Sierra pickup for the raffle. Tickets will be available to purchase at the academy and at various events throughout Yavapai County until 5000 are sold. The proceeds will benefit the academy and the scholarship program.
Over 600 students are participating in the week-long training in Prescott. Students include firefighters in federal, state, local and volunteer departments as well as people aspiring to be employed by agencies that respond to incidents all over the United States.
The Arizona Wildfire Academy is a non-profit organization with the mission of developing professional and safe responses in the wildland environment by offering training and education that meet National Wildfire Coordinating Group standards.
