Wildflower Report
Feb. 14th ’10
One of DesertUSA.com readers sent in a photo of a desert lily blooming in the same area where the DUSA Staff saw buds just a few days before the photo was taken. On Sunday, Feb. 14th ’10 Michael Pique took the following photo and sent it to DesertUSA from his mobile phone.
The location:
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park – Henderson Canyon road, first bend about 1/2 mile west of Peg Leg road.
Field upslope from north side of road, lillies mixed with sand verbena.

Beautiful!!! I can’t wait to get out that way to take pictures. I have only a few days during spring break in which to do so and there is simply not enough time. What a treasure!
