UtilityDive.com reported today that California announced the first phase of the Desert Renewable Energy and Conservation Plan (DRECP). They said, “Environmentalists like the final DRECP because it protects sensitive wildlife habitat and popular recreation areas.”

Springdale, UT- Starting on Monday, November 16, 2015, Zion National Park’s maintenance crew will begin work to replace the water main pipe from the Grotto trailhead to the Zion Lodge. Due to the extensive work to be completed, the half mile Grotto trail connecting the Zion Lodge and Grotto trailhead will be closed to all
