The Desert Sun reported today that “The velvety grass familiar in Coachella Valley winters will soon be sprouting up in all the familiar areas in Palm Springs, like the lawns fronting the airport and the Village Green.”
Due to extremely effective water conservation the city surpassed the quota for reducing water usage to such a degree that the Desert Water Agency will allow reseeding to occur as long as water use does not increase during the reseeding.
